Terry Heidtmann, Principal of the Penrith Professionals Real Estate, has been in the industry since 1968 and is still passionate about his business. Born in West Wylong and raised throughout country NSW, Rankin Springs amongst the towns, his family finally settled in Leichhardt. He came to Penrith in 1963 to work for the Penrith City Council as a Health and Building Inspector and when Merv Cartwright discovered he had moved into town he was asked to come and play football with the local Penrith Panthers; a five eight and team captain, he was the first player to run onto the field during Panthers inaugural game in first division. He married his lovely Monica in 1966 and bought her to Penrith (her family never went that far on holidays!). In 1971 they started their own business, Terry Heidtmann Real Estate at 253 High Street, Penrith. Terry has accomplished so much personally and within his industry, it is hard to fit it all in. He was one of five members who bought the brand Professionals to NSW; he was the groups National Chairman and State Chairman for many consecutive years. He was recently only the second person in the groups 31 year history to be enducted into the Professionals Group Council International Hall of Fame for his outstanding service to the group and industry. In 2009 he was The Australia Day Councils Penrith Citizen of the Year for his contributions to the community of Penrith and his own industry. Terry has been a member of the committee for the REEF organization, which is the industrial arm of the Real Estate Industry. Terry loves real estate, anyone who knows the man knows his passions; family, football and real estate. His infectious enthusiasm runs through his entire team, proudly consisting of three of his and Monica's children; Tracey, Maree and Richard. The man is well known in our area; his integrity and knowledge have made him an exceptional business man and a true professional to work with. Come and meet Terry and his team today.
